We live in the breathtaking countryside of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, South West UK. When we saw these fantastic creatures for the first time, we knew we wanted to experience owning and to enjoy being with them for ourselves. As we say so often, (and we know other breeders say the same) they are a pleasure to own, whether as a flock guard, pet, or as a full breeding herd. We decided to sell up our Hotel and take the leap. We found this great location, applied for and gained planning permission, and embarked on our Great Adventure. Our original plan now encompasses Alpacas, Llamas, Kune Kune Pigs, Geese, Ducks, Chickens, Pygmy Goats, and our Dogs (Chip and Pin) - and we are all enjoying this great voyage together. We started with six breeding Huacaya Alpaca females and before long the numbers started to grow! We now have over thirty in our herd. We have met many helpful people whilst starting our adventure, and we aim to help others in the same way. |

Even though we though we have our own range of top quality stud males we continue to develop our breeding program by using the highest quality genetics available to us. In this way we can be sure that the herd standard continues its rise and makes the best animals available to our customers. We both agreed from the outset that like most things, the foundation was the key to success. With this in mind we purchased the highest quality alpacas available to us and used top quality males for the stud work. |
